Experience what keeps the music together at its core! These five streaming concerts presented by Albert Hosp under the motto «Explained. Experienced!» No further explanations are needed, because this concert format speaks for itself: using excerpts from symponic masterpieces performed live. The musicians of the Tonkunstler Orchestra together with the Austrian music journalist Albert Hosp examine famous examples of the classical orchestral repertoire. Individual passages are explained and the «construction plan» of the respective piece is examined before it is finally heard in its entirety.

Antonín Dvořák's Symphony no. 9 is one of the most popular and most frequently performed works in the orchestral repertoire. In order to show his New York students how to develop their own national music, he composed the symphony nicknamed «From the New World», which is at least as «Bohemian» as it sounds «American».
